This guide will help you install the Mirror Grids Free Demo, enabling you to monitor your device from anywhere in the world.

Step 1: Set Up Your PS-IN202 Scale Indicator

  1. Activate Continuous Data Mode:

    • Remove the small cover at the back of the indicator to reveal the toggle switch.
    • Flip the toggle switch to the opposite position.
    • Power on the indicator. You should see “P1” displayed. Use the Tare or Print button to navigate through the settings until you reach “S3 Mod.”
    • Press the Zero button to check the current setting, ensuring it displays “C”.
    • Confirm the setting by pressing “Net/Gross,” then return the toggle switch to its original position and replace the cover.
  2. Connect the Scale:

    • Attach the signal cable from the indicator to your computer.

Step 2: Download and Install the Software

  1. Download the Software:

    • Visit MirrorGrids.com and click the “Real-Time Demo” button to reach the download page. Note that you must be a member to download the software; registration is free.
    • Log in or sign up by clicking the purple button. Once logged in, click the green “Download Now” button to begin the download.
  2. Install the Software:

    • Double-click the downloaded file to start the installation.
    • You may see a blue popup asking for confirmation to run the software. Click on “More info” and then “Run anyway” to proceed.
    • Follow the installation prompts. When completed, a MirrorGrids icon will appear on your desktop.

Step 3: Configure and Launch the Software

  1. Initial Configuration:

    • Open the software by double-clicking the MirrorGrids icon.
    • For first-time use, click the “Configuration” button, then the blue “Configure” button.
    • The default settings for the PS-IN202 are: Baud Rate 9600, Data Bits 8, Stop Bits 1, Parity None.
    • To verify the communication port, go to your computer’s Device Manager, click on “ports”, and identify the port listed next to “USB-SERIAL CH340.”
    • Select this port number in the Mirror Grids software to finalize the configuration.
  2. Using the Software:

    • Click “Home” then “Start” to view the scale readouts.
    • To link your scale with a web browser, click “Configuration” again, locate the unique URL generated for your scale, copy it, and paste it into your browser.

Your browser is now connected with your scale, enabling real-time monitoring from any distance.
